Ola Ozernov-Palchik, M.S., is a fourth-year doctoral student in the interdisciplinary cognitive science and applied child development program at Tufts University. Ola conducts research at MIT and Boston Children's Hospital on the cognitive and neural mechanisms of reading development and developmental dyslexia. One such mechanism is rhythm processing. In collaboration with others, and using educational, neuroimaging, and app technology methods Ola works on probing the links between musical rhythm processing and reading.
