Sinem Siyahhan is an Assistant Professor of Learning Sciences and Educational Technology, and the Director of the Game Design Program at California State University San Marcos. She is also the owner of the Play2Connect LLC, a company that designs games and game-based experiences for families and youth. Her book "Play to Connect: How Video Games Support Family Learning and Togetherness" will be published in early 2018 by the MIT Press. Siyahhan started her career in games and learning with the Quest Atlantis project in 2007 where she designed and studied multi-user 3D role-playing games for families and youth.
